The founder of Off The Record. A veteran DJ with over a decade of weddings, club residencies, and private parties, Ian has gotten luxury event entertainment down to a science. Since founding Off The Record, Ian has DJ’d weddings from Kauai to Italy, Mexico to Mallorca, and all across the US.

He began DJ’ing on the East Coast and attributes his extensive musical knowledge to his surfing and skateboarding upbringing in coastal Maryland, citing New Wave, Reggae, and Punk as the genres that fueled his musical passions. Throughout his career, Ian stayed true to the game, with analog beat-matching and focus on a wide knowledge of all dance genres, from rap/hip-hop/R&B to soul/disco/boogie/house/electro. His deep understanding of the similarities between tempo and percussion of the many varied genres and styles across the eras of modern music allows him to blend and focus on the classics of DJ’ing.
